Thanatos tried and failed to suppress his humor at the situation. He liked this woman. She had zero pretenses and even fewer defenses. So, she had touched him this morning. He had awakened with a raging hard on. Not that that was uncommon. The fact that he rubbed one out in the shower with her right next-door, that, was uncommon. “So, it was hot and big, huh?”

She pushed back into the truck seat and mumbled something like, just kill me now. She was so easy to embarrass. And what guy didn’t enjoy having a woman tell him he was well endowed. He knew he wasn’t lacking in that department, but having it validated, even by a novice, was a stroke to the ego. His laugh was probably louder than it needed to be.

“Yeah, okay, make fun of me, but you were pressing into me.” She crossed her arms over her chest with a huff and glared at him.

Busted. “Completely natural, I assure you. I slept with a beautiful woman in my arms all night long. I’m not going to apologize for the biological result.” There was no way anything this woman said would embarrass him. Being hardened and jaded as fuck, embarrassing moments didn’t mean shit. However, he would apologize if it would make the situation between them easier for her.

They rode in silence for almost one hundred miles before she turned in her seat to face him. He glanced over. The woman was working up the courage to say something. The question was, what could possibly come out of her mouth now? God knows the last revelation had been interesting. She faced forward again but kept glancing his direction. Sooner or later she’d gather enough intestinal fortitude to say what was on her mind. He reached forward and flicked on the truck's radio, finding an old classic rock channel to listen to.

“Do you find me attractive? I mean attractive enough to make love to me?” She twisted in her seat and stared at him.

Damn, well… all right, that wasn't expected.

“I’ve never made love to anyone.”

“You’re a virgin, too?” Her voice raised reaching glass-shattering octaves and then she squeaked at the end of the question.

“What? Hell, no!” Where the fuck had she gotten that idea?

“But you just said you’ve never made love to anyone…” She stared at him like he had three heads.

“There is a very real difference between fucking and making love. You asked me if I found you attractive enough to make love to you. I have never made love, and I probably never will.”

“Why?” She cocked her head at him, studying him far closer than he cared to let her.

“Don’t ask questions you really don’t want the answer to. Do I find you attractive? Yes. I’ve already told you that.”

“When we get to your home in Auburn, will you fuck me?”

He jerked and the vehicle swerved to the right. His eyes slammed back to the road, correcting the truck before the tires caught on the shoulder and flipped them.
